Blake Aaron Ross was born on June 12, 1985 in Miami, Florida. At age 14, he began working for Netscape Communications Corporation as an intern. Later on, he attended Stanford University which he left shortly to focus more on work.
Along with Joe Hewitt, Ross is the co-founder of Mozilla Firefox. Together, the duo also worked on the creation of Parakey which is a new user interface specially designed to bridge the gap between the web and the desktop. In July 2007, Parakey was acquired by Facebook.
Opposite Sergey Brin, Jon Stewart and Larry Page, Blake Aaron Ross was nominated for the top Rave Award, Renegade of the Year by Wired Magazine. His name was also included in the 2005 hot list of the Rolling Stone. Recently, he was hired by Facebook and he took the post as the Director of the Product.
