Indian businessman Ashwin Dani has an estimated net worth of $2.3 billion in April 2016 according to Forbes.

After finishing his Bachelor of Arts/Sciences from Bombay University, Dani went to the University of Akron to complete his Master of Science degree in Polymer Science. He is currently married to Ina with whom he has three children. Ina is actually a yoga teacher who sits on the board of the company. On the other hand, his son Jalaj is in-charge with the company's international operations.

Dani started his professional career in 1968 at Asian Paint, a company which was co-founded by his father. Currently, from December 2008 to March 2009, he served as the Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Paint which is considered as the third largest manufacturer of paint in Asia. Currently, he sits as the company's Vice Chairman. Operating in 23 factories in 17 countries, Ashwin Dani currently has an approximate sales of $1.8 billion. Since March 2009, he has been serving as the Advisor of Hitech Plast, Ltd. In addition to that, Ashwin Dani is one of the founders of Colour Group of India.
