American businessman and co-founder of The Home Depot Arthur M. Blank has an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion as of January 2017 according to Forbes. He started business with Bernie Marcus by handing out dollar bills in parking lot to lure first customers. He is the owner of the Atlanta Falcons franchise in the National Football League. The Falcons have won more often since the Home Depot co-founder bought them in 2002, but the low-revenue Georgia Dome has the club's valuation lagging. He founded The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation in 1995 and has since granted over $250 million to various charitable organizations. Blank has expressed serious interest in purchasing other Atlanta franchises. In early 2006, he temporarily withdrew from contention as a potential buyer of the Major League Baseball team Atlanta Braves.
