Jon Najarian is a trader, market analyst, and speaker who has an estimated net worth of $50 million. Mr. Najarian began building his estimated net worth of $50 million when his financial career started at the Chicago Board Options Exchange in 1981. Prior to that, he had a brief stint as a professional football player with the Chicago Bears. He founded Mercury Trading in 1989 and ran the company for 15 years. He then sold his floor operations to Citadel, one of the largest hedge funds in the world, in 2004.

Also known as Doctor J or DRJ (CBOE floor call letters), Najarian founded 1010WallStreet.com, a financial news site intended fro serious traders, in 1991. In the same year, he co-founded PTI Securities, a securities and futures firm, where he also served as a chief market strategist.
