Hedge fund manager Richard Chilton Jr. has an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion as of March 2013. According to Forbes.com, he is #1175 in the World Billionaires List, #1075 in 2012, #337 in the United States, and #360 in the Forbes 400 List. He is the son of an advertising executive who graduated from Alfred University with a degree in Finance and Economics. He began his career after graduation when he worked for Merrill Lynch in the mergers and acquisitions department. He left the firm in the mid-80's to work as an investor for Alliance Capitol Management. Later, he worked for fellow billionaire Herbert Allen at Allen & Co.
