Wolfgang Puck is an Austrian celebrity chef, restaurateur, actor and businessman with a net worth of $75 million. Puck's fame sees him as the head of a cooking empire spanning over twenty restaurants, catering services and cookbooks. He is the official caterer of the Academy Awards. Puck learned to cook as a boy from his mother, a pastry chef.

He apprenticed under Raymond Thuiler in France before moving to the United States. Puck spent two years working at La Tour in Indianapolis before moving to Los Angeles to work as both as chef at restaurant Ma Maison. Puck's first cookbook was published in 1981.

Following its successful release, Puck opened the restaurant Spago with Barbara Lazaroff. The Beverly Hills Spago has been acclaimed as one of the top US restaurants since 2004. Puck's success allowed him to launch an empire in his image that now spans more than 20 acclaimed restaurants, catering services, and kitchen and food merchandise.
