The past President and CEO of Viacom, Philippe Dauman has an estimated net worth of $300 million. He has served at this post since September 2006. Dauman was also a director at Redstone-owned CBS Corporation until September 2006. He saw his compensation more than double even though the company's 2010 fiscal year was only nine months long due to a change in its financial reporting calendar. The gains were partly due to one-time stock and options awards as part of a new long-term employment contract he signed in 2010. Dauman received compensation for the nine months ended Sept. 30 that was valued at $84.5 million, compared to his 2009 $34 million. One-time stock and options awards amounted to $54.3 million of that amount. Excluding the one-time awards, he would have made $30.2 million. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, he is also the director of Lafarge, a French manufacturing company, and he is on the Board of Directors of the KIPP Foundation, which is a network of free, college-preparatory schools in low-income communities.
