Nicholas J. Pritzker has built his estimated net worth of $1.1 billion through his investments and hotel business. He is a graduate of Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree. He has also earned a bachelor’s degree from Reed College in 1967. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Pritzker is the nephew of A.N. Pritzker (1986) who created the industrial conglomerate Marmon Holdings and the Hyatt Hotel along with his sons, Jay (1999) and Robert (2011). In 2007, the Pritzker family sold Marmon to Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway. For the past decade, the extended Pritzker family has also been selling assets that it owns jointly.
