It was founded in 1915 selling popcorn and peanuts. Today, the company owns and manages TD Garden, the home of the Bruins and Boston Celtics and also one of the top concert grounds and sports venues in the U.S. He and his three sons run the $2 billion (in revenues) business. Aside from this, he also owns 20% of the New England Sports Network.
Jeremy Jacobs also serves as the Chairman of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Board of Governors since 2007 when he replaced Harley Hotchkiss of the Calgary Flames. He has also served in its executive committee. As a philanthropist, he recently donated $19 million to his alma mater, University of Buffalo, along with his family.
