Alexei Ananyev is the Chairman of Promsvyazbank, the founder and CEO of Technoserv, and the CEO of Systemy Upravleniya with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. He is the 61st richest person in Russia and 882nd in the list of World Billionaires. He holds an Executive MBA degree that he earned from the University of Chicago School of Business in 2005.

Ananyav has accumulated his estimated net worth of $1.7 billion along with his brother and fellow billionaire, Dmitry Ananyev. Their business interests include banking, real estate, and IT. They started their career by importing computers to Russia where Alexei heads the general strategizing and their IT business, Technoserv, Russia’s biggest company in systems integration. Its revenue in 2012 was more than $1.5 billion.

The Ananyev brothers sold for $745 million their telecom company, Synterra, to Megafon which is owned by fellow billionaire Alisher Usmanov. They also own a 21.5-acre business district, Dmitry Ananyev, along the Moscow River. They bought for $230 million in 2011 the Alfa Arbat Center, an office complex in central Moscow. He was named the Chief Executive Officer of Systemy Upravleniya, a state corporation set to develop automated management systems for the military-industrial establishment, in February 2013.

Alexei Ananyev owns the largest collection of Socialist realism-style art in Russia. He opened a museum at the end of 2011 to display his collection.
