With £43m assets, it is worth £100m. Its famous jackets were invented in 1909. Barbour, 71, gave up teaching to take over the reins in the early 1970s when her husband died.
The Sunday Times Rich List added £10m for other assets and past dividends to Barbour and her family net worth. She currently has a net worth of $1.54 billion.
