With a net worth of $60 million, Matt Lauer is one of the wealthiest and most successful news anchors in the United States. Born in 1957, Lauer grew up in New York City and attended college at Ohio University. Working from the bottom of the network up, Matt Lauer was named as co-anchor of The Today Show in January 1997. Lauer has become a household name for many across the United States and is still the host of The Today Show. Additionally, Lauer can be found hosting television programs on the the Discovery Channel and MSNBC.
