About Tom DeLonge

Thomas Matthew DeLonge better known by his stage name “Tom” is a prominent entrepreneur, musician and record producer with an estimated net worth of $60 million. He was born and raised in California along-with his two siblings. His parents separated when he was 18.

He developed a great interest for  punk rock  from his early teens. He struggled with his studies and always used to play guitar. He found the inspiration from his father who had gifted him his first guitar.

Tom was introduced to Mark Hoppus during his high school days, Hopus shared the same interest in music as DeLonge, later introducing Hoppus to Scott Raynor, the three formed the band Blink 182.

Blink 182 enjoyed immense success, becoming one of the biggest bands of the 1990s and 2000s. Due to Raynor’s excessive drinking, Travis Barker was given the chance to place him in  the band as the main drummer.

The group took a break in 2005, forming new bands among the members. Angels & Airwaves was created and had great success due to the fact the the members were already adored by fans all over the world.Blink-182 reformed in 2009, and released a new album in September 2011. Angels & Airwaves has continued to record new albums and tour. DeLonge has also pursued non-musical endeavours; he created a social networking website called Modlife, as well as two clothing companies. In 2001, he started Atticus Clothing and Macbeth Footwear with Mark Hoppus. DeLonge sold his shares in Atticus Clothing, and is currently the sole owner of Macbeth Footwear.
