Ted Nugent is an American musician with an estimated net worth of $20 million. He is famous for his solo career and his work with The Amboy Dukes. He has released over 30 albums and has sold over 30 million albums.
Nugent was born on December 13, 1948 in Redford Michigan. He has been performing live music since 1958. Ted Nugent started The Amboy Dukes in 1964. In 1975, he started his solo career when he signed to Epic Records. He produced many popular songs such as "Dog Eat Dog", "Hey Baby", "Strangehold" and "Cat Scratch Fever". Nugent has been cited as an influence by many other rock and metal musicians. In 1989 he started the group Damn Yankees with Jack Blades, Tommy Shaw and Michael Cartellone. Damn Yankees' self-titled album eventually went multi-platinum. After being a part of the Damn Yankees, Nugent went back to his solo career. Nugent has had eight children. Five of his children were born out of marriage. He has also been married two times.
