Tom Keifer is an American vocalist for the band Cinderella and he has an estimated net worth of $2 million. He group up in a musical family and began playing guitar at a young age. He joined his first rock band while he was in junior high school and he soon learned to play the electric guitar. He has played in several bands including Saints in Hell, Telepath, and Diamonds after graduating.
Keifer went on to pursues his career as a musician and formed the Cinderella band with a friend. He started writing the materials and built up the courage to become the lead vocalist despite being a shy guy. In 1985, the band was discovered by Jon Bon Jovi. Since then, the group experienced much success with their albums Night Songs (1986), Long Cold Winter (1988) and Heartbreak Station (1990). He became a prolific songwriter and enjoyed a reputation with hits such as Shake Me, Nobody’s Fool, Gypsy Road, Don’t Know What You Got, Coming Home, Shelter Me, and Heartbreak Station.
However, Tom Keifer lost his voice after the Heartbreak Station tour. He underwent several surgeries but these were unsuccessful. The band released their fourth album Still Climbing but has received little attention. This led to the breakup of the band in 1995 although they reunited in 1997 and toured a year later. The band was signed to Sony Records but a few years later, was dropped by the record label. The group continued to tour in 2000 and 2002. In the spring of 2013, Tom will be releasing the yet-titled solo album after it was put on hold for the 1997 reunion of the band.
