She started singing along with her sister Erica. In mid-90's she toured as a backup singer for a multiple gospel group. While touring she was discovered by Warryn Campbell and was signed for songwriting agreement. She released her first album in the year 2000 along with her sister. The album was a huge success. After her debut album she released five more albums which became popular. She has won three Grammy Awards and is currently working for WE television reality series Mary Mary. She earlier worked as a Traffic and Travel presenter at BBC Radio Ulster. She also hosted What Next in 1997 to 1998.
