Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins, Stevie Wonder is an American musician with an estimated to be $110 million. He is among the greatest musicians of our times. In fact, he was a child prodigy, who was successful in music as an adult too. Stevie Wonder is the stage name that he prefers to use. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. Stevie has been associated with several genres, such as, pop, R&B, soul, funk, and jazz. Many regard him as one of the greatest creative musical figures of the second half of the 20th century.

Wonder was viewed as a true Wonder when he was young. That’s why he was signed by Motown records when he was just 11 years of age. He has a deal with Motown to this day. Stevie had his first success by the age of 13. “Fingertips” became a major hit. It was part of the album “Recorded Live: The 12 Year Old Genius”. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts. With this, Stevie became the youngest artist to top the list.

The classic period for Stevie Wonder is believed to be between 1972 and 1976. He has given us a lot of songs that went on to become epics. Some of his most memorable works throughout the career are, Superstition, You Are the Sunshine of My Life, Sir Duke, and the huge hit I Just Called to Say I Love You.

Stevie Wonder has been blind from shortly after birth. He has been included into the The Soul Music Hall of Fame.
