Sade has a current estimated net worth of $60 million. Sade’s new album, Soldier of Love, was released in 2010, 10 years after her last studio album, Lovers Rock. It sold nearly 2.5m copies worldwide, making it the second-highest album by a UK artist overseas in 2010, and a No. 1 in 15 countries. A world tour  started and runs to September 2011,with more than 50 dates announced.

Born Helen Folasade Adu on 16 January 1959 in Ibadan, Oyo State,Nigeria to an English mother and Nigerian father, Sade returned to England with her mother when she was four to live in Essex. At the age of 18, she moved to London to study fashion design at what is now Central Saint Martins, and also worked as a photographic model before turning to music.

Her renewed success has taken her record sales to 50m, and we can see £276,000 assets in two small companies. The 2011 Sunday Times Rich List's rock expert valued her net worth at £33m.

In 1989, she married Spanish film director Carlos Pliego.Their marriage ended in 1995.She gave birth to a daughter, Ila Adu, in 1996 after a relationship with a Jamaican musician.
