Rufus Wainwright is an American-Canadian songwriter and composer who has an estimated net worth of $10 million. He has accumulated his wealth through his long career in recordings and films. He was born on July 22nd 1973 in Rhinebeck, New York but was raised by a single mother in Montreal, Canada.

Wainwright exhibited talent as a teenager and used to play piano and even sing as he toured with his folk singer mother and aunt.
