As a tenor singer, born Ralph Edward Tresvant, Jr has a net worth of $8 million. He was one of the lead singers of R&B group known as New Edition, a group from Boston. Tresvant left New Edition and began a solo career in 1989. He started singing with MCA Records. He released his self-titled album in 1990 which topped the R&B charts. The following year Travant Ralph's song 'YO Baby Yo' appeared in a House Party 2 movie soundtrack.

In 1996, Tresvant reunited with some of New Edition members and released an album titled 'Home Again'. The song was released in September that same year. The album was very successful. In 7th March, 2006 Tresvant released another solo album titled 'Rizz-Wa-Faire'. 'My Homegirl' was the first single and video songs from this album. In 27th September, 2008, he began touring and performing with Johnny Gill and Bobby Brown under a new group known as Heads of State.

His song 'sensitivity', released in October, 2004, featuring a video game Grand Theft Auto; San Andreas. The song also played in CSR103-a popular R&B/soul radio station. His 1992 hit 'Money Can't Buy You Love' was at the top three R&B chart. His songs are still popular and he has a great talent in singing.
