Peter Wolf is an American musician who has a net worth of $8 million. Peter's career instantly rose to fame when he played as the lead vocalist of J. Geils Band. The group made it into the limelight for more than 15 years, from 1967-1983.
Born in New York, Wolf desired to become an artist someday but he took the job as a disc jockey on an FM radio station in Boston. From then on, his interest and passion for rhythm and blues music were aroused. Later on, he nicknamed himself as Wolfa Goofa.
When he saw the J. Geils Band, he joined them where he worked as the frontman, the vocalist, and sometimes, the manager. In 1993, the members of the band chose to separate ways and for 15 years, Wolf had a solo career. In 1999, the band was reunited but later on, it was disbanded again. From then on, Wolf maintained a solo career.
