Perri Pebbles Reid is a pop and R&B songwriter and singer with a net worth of $15 million. Also known as Sister Perri, she owns a production company called Pebbitone that is known for its many gospel hits. She started out in the music industry quite young as a backup singer for percussionist Bill Summers and a funk group called Con Funk Shun. Pebbles has received a Grammy nomination and won many awards for her performance and songwriting.
In 1987, she released her solo debut for MCA Records after which she was noted for her numbers including “Mercedes Boy” and “Girlfriend”, which became instant hits. She collaborated with Paula Abdul for her debut album Forever Your Girl the following year before releasing her second album in 1990. “Love Makes Things Happen”, “Giving You the Benefit” and “Always” were all part of that album and each made it to the top of the charts in no time. Before Hip-O Records released a collection of Pebbles’ greatest hits, she collaborated with the likes of Kyle West, Sean Combs and Organized Noize for her third album titled Straight from My Heart in 1995.
