British recording artist and entrepreneur Nicola Maria Roberts has a net worth of $13 million. She was born on October 5, 1985 in Stamford, Lincolnshire, England but grew up in Runcorn, Cheshire. She attended St Chad's High School and began singing at the age of 11, attended her local dance school, and formed her own girl band, the Five Musketeers, before auditioning for the ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.

When she successfully completed the reality television series and competition, she became a part of English Irish pop girl-group Girls Aloud along with Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, and Kimberley Walsh. The group then released their debut single Sound of the Underground in the same year and topped the UK Singles chart. Because of their success, they won the competition and, later, they were entered in the Guinness World Records as the most successful reality television music-group. Together, they enjoyed 20 consecutive top ten singles, spawning five albums and positive critical responses.

With quiet personality, Nicola Roberts may have been the less tabloid-friendly member of Girls Aloud, but thanks to her songwriting skills, eclectic taste, and effortlessly cool demeanor, her solo career was far more interesting than bandmates Nadine and Cheryl.

As an entrepreneur, she focused on her Dainty Doll beauty range - a pale skin make-up collection.
