American actor, dancer, songwriter, recording artist and record producer Ne-Yo has an estimated net worth of $16 million.

This Grammy awardee was born as Shaffer Chimere Smith on October 18, 1982 in Camden, Arkansas, United States. He is of African-American and Chinese ancestry. Ne-Yo started his career as a songwriter. He penned Mario’s "Let Me Love You". This led him to meet the head of Def Jam label, which eventually granted him a recording contract.
