Kendall Schmidt is an American singer-songwriter and actor best recognized for his appearance on Big Time Rush as Kendall Knight. He is also known for his appearance as guests on TV shows such as Phil of the Future, Frasier, Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, ER, and Without a Trace. 

Kendall Francis Schmidt was born on November 2, 1990 in Andover, Kansas, United States. When he was ten, his family moved to California from Kansas. From then on, he started appearing on various TV programs which include Raising Dad, Titus, General Hospital, and CSI: Miami. On the big screen, Schmidt has appeared on According to Spencer and Minority Report.

As a musician, he is known to be the lead singer of Big Time Rush. The band has already released three albums. Prior to that, he was part of the duo Heffron Drive which was composed of Schmidt and the current guitarist of Big Time Rush, Dustin Belt.
