Johnny Gill was born on May 22, 1966 in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. At age 17, Gill's recording career started and under Atlantic Records, his self-titled album was finally released. In 1996, he reunited with New Edition which led to the release of the album titled Home Again. It featured singles like "Still In Love" and "Hit Me Off".
