Jenna Ushkowits is an American actress, writer and singer.

Jenna Ushkowitz started her career when she was three years old. She appeared on Sesame Street and other children's television shows.

In 1996, she landed a role in the Broadway musical The King and I. Then, in 2009, she joined Fox's musical show, Glee, portraying the role of Tina Cohen-Chang.

Ushkowitz's rendition of Cyndi Lauper's song, True Colors, charted at number 47 on the Australian Singles Chart, 38 on the Canadian Hot 100, 15 on the Irish Singles Chart, 35 on the UK Singles Chart, and 66 on the United States' Billboard Hot 100. She and her fellow castmates from Glee peformed live concert shows in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland.

In 2011, she had a cameo appearance in Lady Gaga's music video, "Marry the Night".

She wrote her first book, Choosing Glee, documenting her childhood on Long Island, where she was raised after being adopted as a baby, and her career as a Broadway and television actress.

Jenna Ushkowitz was born April 28, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated at Marymount Manhattan College in 2007 with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, with a concentration in Performance and a minor in Musical Theater.
