James Blunt has an estimated net worth of $18 million. James Blunt, whose real name is James Hillier Blount, is the English singer and songwriter behind the 2005 hit, "You're Beautiful". Born on February 22, 1974, he was a British Army officer serving under the Life Guards, and served in Kosovo under NATO before starting his career as a singer-songwriter.

Blunt's musical training started early with piano and violin lessons as a child. However, his first known significant defining moment as a musician came when he first learned to play the guitar at the age of 14.

In 2005, Blunt released his debut album entitled "Back to Bedlam" which many considers to be a hybrid of acoustic pop, folk, and rock music. Recorded and released under Custard Records, the album reaped for Blunt 2 MTV Video Music Awards, among other awards. His debut album is also hailed as the best-selling album in UK in the 2000s.

In 2006, and for the same album, Blunt called in for the Grammy Awards for five nominations.

Blunt recorded the next album entitled "All The Lost Souls" and released it in 2007. This was followed by his third album "Some Kind of Trouble" which was released in 2010.
