George Glenn Jones, born on 12th September, 1931, is an American singer and musician. He was born in Saratoga, Texas. He has a net worth of $35 Million. He is best known for his phrasing and distinctive voice, and the many hit records produced. Some people even claim that Jones is “The Greatest Living Country Singer”.

He started playing guitar at the age of 9. Jones left home at the age of 16 to pursue his music career. However, soon he joined the US Marine Corps and served there for a year.
