Drew Lachey followed the footsteps of his famous sibling. Like Nick, Drew attended Cincinnati's School for the Performing Arts, where he triumphed in the arenas of academics, sports, and vocal performance. Drew then briefly enlisted in the army and worked as an EMT before the then-19-year-old accepted Nick's invitation to travel to Southern California and join the white-hot boy band 98°. The ensemble scored a massive fan base and a Motown contract. After the group formally took a hiatus several years later, Drew achieved fame independently for performing in the celebrity contingent of the competitive reality series "Dancing with the Stars". He and partner Cheryl Burke competed during the program's second season (in early 2006), and won that season. He later hosted the spin-off reality series Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann in 2008.  Drew Lachey was born on August 8, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
