Bryan Ferry was born on the 26th September, 1945 in Washington, England. In the early 1970s, he got a prominent role as a principal songwriter for the popular music band “Roxy”. He enjoyed immense success with this band. They were able to come out with three albums that reached the #1 position. Ten of their singles reached the top ton British charts as well. Eventually however he launched his own solo career in 1973. But he remained an integral part of Roxy Music. Bryan’s fame and wealth comes from being a top vocalist and lead songwriter for many years. In 2011, Bryan was made a CBE on the occasion of the birthday of his Queen, for his immense contributions to the British music industry.

Ferry has been associated with many ladies. Interestingly, many of them have got the opportunity to appear as the cover model of Roxy’s music albums. Ferry’s lady love, Amanda Lear, a French model and singer, appeared on the cover with a black jaguar for the album “For Your Pleasure”. Ferry’s next relationship, with a model Jerry Hall, didn’t last more than couple of years.

In 1982, Ferry married the model and London socialite, Lucy Helmore, who was 14 years younger to him. They divorced in 2003. After the divorce, Ferry had relationships with Katie Turner, who was thirty five years younger to him and Lady Emily Compton, a British socialite. He married Amanda Sheppard in early 2012. Amanda was Bryan’s son’s ex-girlfriend.
