Tre Cool is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who has an estimated net worth of $50 million. He has earned his wealth as part of several popular rock bands, including his current band Green Day, The Lookouts, Samiam, Dead Mermaids, Bubu and the Brood and the Green Day side-projects The Network and the Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Born Frank Edwin Wright III on December 9, 1972 in Frankfurt, West Germany, he moved to the United States with his father (a pilot during the Vietnam War) and his sister. He has been playing drums since he was 12, and attributes his success as a drummer to the coaching and mentoring he received from his neighbor Larry Livermore. It is Livermore, also a popular Rock musician, who suggested to him his current stage name, Tre Cool.

Tre is best known as the drummer of the American punk rock band called Green Day. He has played his role as a drummer for the group since 1990 when he replaced former drummer, John Kiffmeyer, who felt the need to focus on college.

Besides playing with the drums, Tre Cool is also a talented guitarist and songwriter. He has written several songs for Green Day, one of his popular songs being "Dominated Love Slave" in 1992. The song appears in the band’s album called Kerplunk.
