Richard Karn is an American actor and game show host with an estimated net worth of $8 million. Born Richard Karn Wilson on February 17, 1956 in Seattle, Washington, he had his first acting stint during his fifth grade and was also very active in drama when he was in high school at Roosevelt High School.

Also known as Al Borland  in the sitcom Home Improvement, Richard Karn is best recognized as the host of the famous Family Feud around the 2000s. After finishing in college with a degree on Drama at the University of Washington, Richard Karn moved to New York. A week later, he starred in a commercial for Michelob beer that was featured during Super Bowl XIV. When he joined the Screen Actors Guild, he had to drop his last name and used Richard Karn instead because there was already a member named Richard Wilson.

Not long after, Richard Karn started on with his acting career. Aside from Family Feud,  Richard Karn has also hosted the Bingo America. He appeared in the music video for “Someday” of The Strokes. Also, Karn has appeared in several film projects including Picture Perfect, The Pooch and the Pauper, Sex and the Teenage Mind, Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch, Mr. Blue Sky, Air Buddies, Snow Buddies, Reality School, MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate, and Legend of the Mummy.
