Jamal Michael Barrow, better known by his stage name of Shyne, is a Belizean rapper with an estimated net worth believed to be over $2 million. Prior to originally releasing his maiden album in 1999, he found himself entangled in a nightclub shooting incident with Diddy, his boss at the time. This was something for which he was to pay dearly by serving a 10-year jail sentence. Upon completion of his sentence, Shyne was released in 2009 and  he returned to Belize because he was deported

This led to his shifting base to Jerusalem. In 2010, he was to re-sign with Def Jam Recording and his second album was released in mid-2011.
