Record label owner Ronald “Slim” Williams has an estimated net worth of $170 million. Along with his younger brother Bryan “Birdman” Williams, Slim founded the Cash Money Records label in the early 1990s and became the home of some of the biggest names in rap. He serves as the executive producer for many of Cash Money artists’ albums, most especially Lil Wayne, wherein he appeared in Wayne's Behind the Music episode, which premiered September 10, 2009.
Born on May 23, 1967 in New Orleans, Louisiana, he earned his impressive wealth from the record label company. Together with his brother, Slim was featured on Newbos: The Rise of America’s New Black Overclass on CNBC. It is a documentary show that features the profiles of some African-American billionaires. Slim is also associated with other successful rap artists like Mack Maine, Drake, Bow Wow, Young Buck, and Nicki Minaj.
Outside of Music, he owns a clothing line called YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires) and a line of liquor brand called GT Vodka. Unlike his brother, Slim is considered less vocal and usually works behind the scene in the company, which earned him the nickname “The Godfather”. He never pursued a career behind the mic or in front of the cameras.
