American rapper, producer, vocalist and actor Luther Roderick Campbell is worth $8 million. Also known as Uncle Luke, he derives his wealth from concert promotion, stage performance, owning a record label, acting and as a vocalist. Uncle Luke was born in Miami, Florida on December 22, 1960. He rose to fame in 1985 after a successful smash hit with 2 Live Crew. After a series of live performance in California and Miami, he took over as the crew manager and also as the crew “hype man”. He started solo performance in 1991 and produced a record titled I Wanna Rock You. Before 2 Live Crew contract with Luke Skyywalker record label came to an end in 1991, there was a royalty court suit for royalty rights after 2 Live Crew used Roy Orbison tune to mock his single Oh, Pretty Woman. Campbell is also a promoter, an entrepreneur and he owns Luke Records and has also featured in own short lived show VH1.
