Kardinal Offishall is a Canadian rapper, record producer, DJ and record executive who has an estimated net worth of $6 million. He has made most of his money from his distinctive hip-hop style. Born Jason D. Harrow on May 12, 1976 in Scarborough, Canada, he began his career in the city of Toronto in the mid-90s underground hip hop scene as a member of The Circle. In high school, he often threw parties at the Alexandra Park Community Center. He is also a former student of York University though he did not complete his degree.

Harrow began rapping when he was eight years old. At age 12, he was already winning competitions. He gained popularity when he performed live on stage with Nelson Mandela during the former president’s first visit in Toronto. In 1993, he decided to change his alias from KoolAid to Kardinal Offishal after the 17th century French politician, Cardinal Richelieu.

Kardinal has released many albums and singles including Naughty Dread, Eye &1, Thrust, Quest for Fire: Firestarter Vol.1&2. In 2008, he was featured on the Just Dance (RedOne Remix). Harrow collaborated with singer Karl Wolf on his single Ghetto Love in 2011. In 2013, Kardinal appeared on the charity Time after Time by artists Against.
