Fonzworth Bentley is an American musician and author with an estimated net worth of $2 million. Born Derek Watkins and previously popular as Farnsworth Bentley, his debut album was released in early 2007 under Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. Bentley, who is also an ingenious mode designer, first got acclaim as Sean “Diddy” Combs’ umbrella-toting assistant.

Bentley (Watkins) is a biology graduate of Morehouse College. He also attended the Institute Fashion of Technology in New York City. After periodic meetings with 'Diddy' Combs in Atlanta and later in New York City, Bentley secured a position as the hip-hop entertainment guru's personal assistant.

After working for Combs for almost two years, Bentley, in 2002, took a chance and headed for Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He has appeared in numerous music videos and was even featured in a Sprite commercial in 2006. In 2007, he authored "Advance Your Swagger: How to Use Manners, Confidence, and Style to Get Ahead."
