Azealia Banks is an American rapper and songwriter which has an estimated net worth of $3 million.

Azealia Banks began her music career when she participated in doing musical theater at a young age. She appeared in performing off-Broadway musicals such as Rabbit Sense, Sleepover, and Heroes.

As she follows her dream as a recording artist, Banks started writing rap and R&B songs.  When she offered to sign a deal from XL Recordings, she used the moniker, Miss Bank$. She left the recording company due to conflicting ideas later that year and she changed her moniker to her real name, Azealia Banks.

She did some demo tracks while Banks moved to Montreal. Her first single, 212 off her EP, 1991 became a chart-topping hit around Europe. She released her first mixtape, Fantasea in 2012.

In April 2014, Banks unleashed her first studio album, Broke with the Expensive Taste. Then, her second mixtape called Fantasea II: The Second Wave will be release on July.

Azealia Amanda Banks was born on May 31, 1991 in Harlem, New York. She was trained at the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts.
