Andre Lauren Benjamin or better known as Andre 3000 is an American rapper with and estimated net worth of $45 million. He is not only a rapper but also a singer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer songwriter and actor. He is mostly recognized as a part of the duo known as OutKast. Although he has appeared in a couple of movies, his acting achievements cannot be compared with those of his music career. Andre 3000 is also the founder of a clothing line known as Benjamin Bixby.
Andre 3000 was born in Georgia and since his parents were not married, he was brought up by his single mother. He met Big Boi, the other half of OutKast, while attending high school and soon after they graduated, they entered into a contract with Laface. Their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, which was released in 1994, became a direct commercial success since their leading single "Player's Ball" was a huge hit. At the end of that year, the album had sold over a million copies thus getting platinum status boosting Andre 3000's net worth in just a single night. Andre and Big Boi released two more albums before the end of the century but they were both not as successful as their first album.
However, in 2000, they released their fourth album and due to the appeal of two of their singles, "The Whole World" and "Ms Jackson", the album was more successful than any of their previous ones. This lead to a further increment in Andre 3000 net worth.
