Peter Guber is a film and TV producer with a net worth of $800 million. In 1968, he started out his career in the industry as an assistant and management trainee in Columbia Pictures, where he later became President. In 1976, together with Neil Bogart, he chaired Casablanca Records and Filmworks, Inc. which housed several of the most successful recording artists in history, as well as high-grossing soundtracks such as Flashdance and Endless Love.
His first solo film production was The Deep, which also became the second top grossing film of that year. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Polygram Entertainment. Aside from producing award-winning films, he also authored several best sellers and is the co-owner of two sports teams. He's also a faculty member of UCLA School of Theater, Film, Television and Digital Media, and is constantly invited to speak on various gatherings of international organizations. He's currently sitting as CEO and Chairman of Mandalay Entertainment.
