While he was a front man for the band Psi Com, he expanded his horizons to a great extent by being associated with bands like X, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone, and The Minutemen. After the Psi Com days were over, he met Eric Avery. This led to the foundation of Jane’s Addiction. The band released an album by the name of “Strays”. It became one of the best-selling records. It became gold certified in the US, and silver certified in UK.
