Patty Hearst is an American heiress. She has a net worth of $45 Million. Patty Heart has earned her wealth as an heiress – she is the granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst, who was an American publishing tycoon. She is a great granddaughter of the millionaire George Hearst. Apart from inheriting wealth from generations of rich family, she is also best known for her involvement with the Symbionese Liberation Army after her kidnapping in 1974. She helped her kidnappers further their cause and was a participant in a bank robbery. Patricia or Patty is also an actress and a socialite.

President Bill Clinton gave Hearst a presidential pardon. That was among his last official acts before Bill left the Presidency. But before that, Patty was imprisoned for about 2 years.

She was born in San Francisco, California on February 20th 1954. She grew up in Hillsbororough, a wealthy suburb of San Francisco. Hearst was educated at the Santa Catalina School Monterey and Crystal Springs School for girls in Hillsborough. Her closest friend was Patricia Tobin. She is married to Bernard Shaw, who was her former bodyguard and has 2 children from the marriage. The 1982 autobiography about Hearst titled “Every Secret Thing” was made in to a biographical film by Pal Schrader in 1988, the latest actress Natasha Richardson played the role of Patty. Interestingly, Hearst is now known as Patricia Campbell Hearst Shaw.
