Born in 1930, Pat Robertson is an executive chairman, media tycoon, and a Southern Baptist minister. Pat Robertson’s net worth is estimated to be around $30 million.
He was born in Lexington, Virginia to a famous political family. In his young days, he was nicknamed “Pat” lovingly by his elder brother who enjoyed patting him on his cheeks. His original name was Marion Gordon but he considered Marion to be effeminate and M. Gordon to be affected. So he decided to opt for his childhood nickname Pat.
Pat graduated from the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and went on to attend college at Washington and Lee University, and then served in the Marine Corps. After attending the Yale Law School, and failing to pass the bar exam, he chose to attend New York Theological Seminary.
Robertson has amassed this wealth from setting up many corporations and organizations, and a University too. The International Family Entertainment Inc. (ABC Family Channel), the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ, the Christian Coalition, Regent University, Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, a Boeing 757 Flying Hospital, and CBN Asia were founded by Pat Robertson. Some of these organizations solve the purpose of raising monetary and public support for conservative political candidates. He is also a bestselling author.
He keeps on making a number of predictions on the future of USA on the basis what “God has told him”. However, none of them have been proven right. Pat has always been in the limelight because of his controversies. His absurd and bold statements have always caught the attention of the national and internal media.
