Till Lindemann is a German musician, qualified pyrotechnician, actor and poet has an estimated net worth of $4 million. He is best known as the lead vocalist for the German band, Rammstein.

Born in Leipzig, Saxony, East Germany on January 4, 1963, he grew up in the village of Wendisch-Rambow near Schwerin in East Germany. He attended a sports school at the Empor Rostock Sport Club at the age of eleven and attended a boarding school between 1977 and 1980. He used to be a swimmer but had to stop due to injury. He then went to work as an apprentice carpenter, a gallery technician, a peat cutter and a basket weaver.

Lindemann began his career as a drummer for First Arsch, which released an album called Saddle Up and played one song, Lied von der unruhevollen Jugend, with a punk band called Feeling B, the former band of Rammstein members Paul H. Landers, Christoph “Doom” Schneider and Christian “Flake” Lorenz. He began writing lyrics during the 1990s. The trio entered and won a contest in Berlin, leading him to move to the city in order to record a four track demo professionally.

Till published his poetry book, Messer in November 2002. It is a compilation of 54 poems by Gert Hof, the author of the book Rammstein and the band’s pyrodesigner for the last seven years. Along with Flake, he was interviewed in July 2010 by heavy metal anthropologist Sam Dunn for the VH1 Classic series, Metal Evolution on the topic of shock rock.
