Steven Van Zandt also known as Little Steven and sometimes Miami Steven is an American musician, actor and is also a radio disc jockey with a net worth of $80 million. He is a part of Bruce Springsteen’s E street band. He plays guitar and mandolin. He appeared on television in The Sopranos. Presently, he is working on Lilyhammer.

In and around 1980’s, Steven tried his luck in forming his own band and called it “Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul”. Van Zandt is from Massachusetts and was originally called Steven Lento – his birth name. He was seven years of age when the family had to move to New Jersey. He joined Bruce Springsteen's band in 1975. In the early years, he was the lead guitarist of the band. Later on, he became a songwriter and a producer as well. For a very long time, he wrote songs for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. In 1989, he composed the song, “I Am a Patriot” was covered by Jackson Browne. He has produced a number of recordings.

He left the band in 1984 and returned in 1999. In the music video of Glory Days, Van Zandt was allowed to play his mandolin. He made his debut on television in 1999 with his role of a deadly mob in The Sopranos. He always wears gypsy clothes on stage. By 2002, he turned to radio and hosted a program. Since 2010, he has been appearing in Hotel Caesar as himself. Steven Van Zandt remains best known for the rock and heartland rock genres. He can play a number of instruments – guitar, harmonica, piano, and the mandolin.
