Roger Waters is a British musician with a net worth of $270 million. Former Pink Floyd member Waters began a world tour last September to mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s tour The Wall. He played 56 dates in North America, with another 60 planned in Europe between March and July. Pollstar reported gross box office receipts of $90m from the American leg. Waters has had many years of frenetic touring, particularly in 2006 and 2007 when his concerts grossed more than $150m.

He left the band in the mid-1980s after an acrimonious dispute but Pink Floyd reformed for the one-off Live 8 concert in July 2005. Any hopes that the band might form up again were dashed with the 2008 death of keyboard player Rick Wright.

Now solo, Waters still commands huge royalties and an income stream from the 200 million albums sold by Pink Floyd. On the commercial front, he renewed his publishing deal last year for the administration of his songs for Pink Floyd and his solo career with Warner/Chappell.

His two firms, Roger Waters Music UK and Roger Waters Music Overseas, had £35m sales between 1988 and 1996. He also has a £6m London home and a £1m Hampshire estate. Roger Waters Music Overseas paid him £24.9m in 2000, though it files only limited accounts, as does his Roger Waters Music UK. The frantic touring and the new deal lead,Sunday Times Rich List's rock expert valued Waters net worth at £105m.
