Prior to the formation of the APRB, Green was one of the members of the bands; Saosin. Green also appeared in the American television documentary called Los Angeles Ink Season 4, Episode 20.

He got the nickname Skunk during his days as a member of the Sound of Animals Fighting band where all the members wore animal masks to hide their identities while at the same time giving the band a creative inspiration.

Anthony Green has been very active in the music industry with a wide variety of genres that include indie rock, math rock, experimental rock and progressive rock since 1997. His first solo album called Avalon was released to the public in August, 2008.

Green's second album, Beautiful Things released on January 17, 2012. The said album reached the 27th spot on the Billboard 200 charts. His third solo album, Young Legs unveiled last November 12, 2013 which peaked at 67 on the Billboard 200 charts.
