In February 1996, Garcia married her former husband Prince in Minneapolis. Two months later, the couple announced Mayte Garcia’s pregnancy. However, the baby named Boy Gregory died a week later after he was born due to a rare skull disease termed as Pfeiffer syndrome. In 1999, the couple’s marriage was finally annulled.
