Born as Irina Shaykhlislamova, this 27-year old Russian model is best recognized for her appearances onSports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue from 2007 until 2012. In 2011, she was on the cover of the said magazine.

Born to a Russian mother and Tatar mother, she is often mistaken to be a Latina beauty because of her physical characteristics which resemble the beauty of women coming from Brazil. While studying marketing in college, she got bored and decided to join a beauty contest. She participated and won the “Miss Chelyabinsk 2004" title which led her to be discovered by a local modeling agency.

In 2007, she debuted into the world of modeling at the age of 19 in Paris. She became the face of  Intimissimi after replacing Ana Beatriz Barros. On the same year, she began appearing on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. After working for three years with Intissimi, she began endorsing other well known commercial brands such as Beach Bunny, Guess, Morellato, Lacoste, and Cesare Paciotti. She has appeared on the catalog of Victoria’ Secret, and covers of Bolero, Woman, Annabelle, Paris Capital and Jalouse.
